My Home Town
The picture at the top of this page is Wallace in December - note the Christmas bells on the lamp poles and the snow on everything.

My Interests
I have been interested (really fascinated by) technical and scientific things for as long as I can remember. I was one of those strange kids that took every moving toy they owned apart. What's strange about that? You ask. I got most all of them back together in operationing condition!
The first unsuccessful disassembly that I can remember is an el cheapo wrist watch. The "jewelers screwdrivers" that I hand filed out of 10-penny nails just would NOT hold their shape - I had not yet then discovered the magic of hardening and tempering metal with fire. I was ten or eleven at the time.
